On the 30th November 2011, Skolkovo Foundation Vice-President, Conor Lenihan, and his advisor, Alexander Tkachev, as the members of Russian delegation, attended the sixth session of the UN Committee on Economic Integration and Cooperation of the European Economic Commission. During the event, a meeting was held concerning cooperation between the Skolkovo Foundation and the permanent representatives of the UNECE. There were meetings with the Director of Technologies, Innovation and Entrepreneurship of National Academy of the United States, the head of the National Innovation Fund of Kazakhstan, as well as the direction of the UN Committee on Economic Integration and Cooperation of the European Economic Commission. With the support of the UNECE the negotiations were held with heads of delegations from Kazakhstan concerning Russian-Kazakh innovation cooperation and prospects of cooperation with the National Fund of Kazakhstan as the key partner of the Skolkovo Foundation. This visit sets the basis of cooperation in the sphere of innovations with Kazakhstan.
