Petersburg will become acquainted with Skolkovo

On September 28-29, 2011, Skolkovo Foundation will effect arrangements within the Petersburg International Innovation Forum.

September 28th

  • At 9:30 a.m. they will sign a Declaration on foundation of Russian Entrepreneurial University Association (forum press-centre).

    The following persons will put their signatures:

    1. Oleg Borisovich Alexeyev – vice-president, chief managing director for education and researches in Skolkovo Foundation.

    2. Vladimir Nikolayevich Vasilyev – president of St. Petersburg National Research University of Information Technologies, Mechnics and Optics.

    3. Nikolai Nikolayevich Kudryavtsev – president of Moscow Physics and Technology Institute.

    4. Anatoly Nikolayevich Petrovsky – vice president of National Research Nuclear University of MIFI (Moscow Engineering and Physics Institute).

    5. Alexander Favstovich Uvarov – vice-president of Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radio Electronics (TUSUR).

    6. Timothy Edward O'Connor – vice-president of National Research Institute of Technology MISiS.

    Upon signing ceremony completion they will hold a press-briefing.

  • At 04:00 p.m. they will hold a round table meeting "What good will do the "triple spiral" model for innovative development of Russia?" (Hall 7.1)

    The speakers from the Foundations will be:

    1. Oleg Borisovich Alexeyev – vice-president, chief managing director for education and researches.

    2. Leonid Borisovich Vodovatov – head of research community organization department.

  • At 04:00 p.m. concurrently with the Round table meeting they will hold a debating club "Innovativeness of Russian Regions: relevance of assessment in competitive environment" (Hall 7.4).

    Participants from the Foundation:

    1. Stanislav Aleksandrovich Naumov – vice-president for governmental agency and public relations.

    2. Ilya Aleksandrovich Dubinsky – director of energy-efficient technology cluster.

    3. Sergei Aleksandrovich Zhukov – executive director of space technology and telecommunication cluster.

    4. Daniel Olegovich Ischenko – vice-president for business development of Titan Information Service CJSC (Skolkovo resident).

    5. Andrei Vitalyevich Lukyanov– general director of New Silicone Technologies LLC (Skolkovo resident).

    6. Mikhail Lvovich Pogrebnyak – general director of Kuznech LLC (Skolkovo resident).

September 29th

  • At 12:30 p.m. they will hold a Plenary meeting "Regional Development Innovation Strategies". Mikhail Oseyevsky, Vice-Governor of St. Petersburg, St. Petersburg Governor Administration Head will act as a meeting moderator. (Hall 7.1)

    Speakers:

    D.N. Kozak - Vice-Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, member of Supervisory Board of ANPO Steering Committee "Sochi-2014";

    A.N. Turgeneva - chief architect of Skolkovo Innovation Centre;

    John Tierni - head of Dublin government;

    V.N. Knyagin - director of the North-West Centre for Strategic Elaborations Foundation

    B.Yu. Titov - chairman of Russia-wide non-governmental organization "Business Russia";

    M.R. Shagiakhmetov - Minister of Economic Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan. Experts:

    L.B. Melamed – general director of Komposit holding company;

    K.V. Sedov – vice-governor of the Moscow Region;

    E.A. Fyodorov – chairman of Economic policy and entrepreneurship committee of the State Duma;

    V.A. Schitinsky – director of FGUP RosNIPIUrbanistiki".

    Issues for discussion:

    1. What innovation strategy of town-planning activity shall be?

    2. Qualitative criteria of stable regional development.

    3. Development innovations in transport, utilities and social infrastructures of urban environment.

    4. "Smart city" – minimum resources for maximum comfort.

    5. Land-use planning as a basis for social and economic development of the regions.
