MINSK, 28 February (BelTA) – The Skolkovo Foundation is interested in cooperation with Belarus in biomedicine, energy conservation, and information technologies, BelTA learnt from Andrei Komolov, director of investments and development at the biomedicine cluster of the Skolkovo Foundation.

“We have a lot of areas of common interest in biomedicine, bioinformatics, medical treatment and pharmaceutics. We are also interested in cooperation with Belarusian colleagues in energy efficient, energy saving and information technologies,” said Andrei Komolov. He also informed that so far two Belarusian scientific teams have been awarded the status of residents of the Skolkovo Foundation. Concrete projects will be implemented with the foundation’s support.

Andrei Komolov did not rule out establishing cooperation with Belarus in nuclear and space technologies. During the presentation he informed that the Skolkovo Foundation consists of five clusters. These are biomedicine, energy conservation, IT, nuclear and space technologies. Representatives of the energy conservation and IT clusters will also hold presentations in Belarus.

Minsk is hosting the seminar “Presentation of the biomedicine cluster of the Skolkovo Foundation” on 28 February.
