The receipt of applications for the Competition was held from July 29 to August 12. Call for Proposals was published in the federal publication “Kommersant” and on the official website of the Skolkovo Innovation Center Development Foundation www.i-gorod.com.
The final list consists of 27 designing companies, specializing in the development of town planning concepts, including integrated engineering solutions. The main condition for the inclusion was meeting the deadlines and compliance with the requirements for filing applications for the competitive selection.
In accordance with the Regulations of the competition each designing company concurrently with the application presented an architectural company with experience in development of attractive urban environment and organization of urban space.
Independent expert appraisement of the applicants will be accomplished in accordance with the stated qualification requirements by the Swiss company Maxmakers, the official consultant of the Skolkovo Foundation.
Before September 1 the Skolkovo Foundation Urban Environment Council, which includes well-known Russian and foreign architects and people of art, will give its recommendations on the choice of five candidates. The final list will be formed by the Foundation Council.
The selected Designers will develop the Town Planning Concept (master plan concept) of the territory of the Skolkovo Innovation Center, located in the Odintsovo district, Moscow region.

We will have to explore architectural and engineering projects realized by the applicants, and evaluate the companies that entered the final list”.
As Viktor Maslakov pointed out, “we are pleased by the mood of participants, by their sincere interest in the Innocenter project, by their desire to build a modern, beautiful and homelike city of the future”.
