Skolkovo resident company Ivideon produces surveillance cameras and software that allows users to watch live feeds remotely via smartphones or tablets.

“The demand for such a service has turned out to be very high,” says Ilya Pukhov, Ivideon’s vice president for business development.

The Samsung SmartCam uses Ivideon's cloud server

The Ivideon system is designed to work with any existing cameras including those on personal computers and laptops.

The cameras capture video and audio from a given environment and upload the data to Ivideon’s cloud storage system. The client can access the cloud server remotely through a mobile device and view the images live.

Ivideon has leased its cloud system to electronics giants Philips and Samsung. Sales of the Philips In.Sight camera system and Samsung Smartcam, which both run on the Ivideon cloud, have shot past 50,000, the Russian company recently announced.

Ivideon is a resident of Skolkov’s IT Cluster.
