Experts have traveled more than 10 thousand kilometers, visited 16 cities and reviewed more than 200 innovative projects, and today they announced the results of the event. Pekka Viljakainen, adviser to the president of Skolkovo Foundation, admitted that in the beginning Russian Startup Tour was met with a certain share of skepticism – the expert was sure there would be no necessary conditions for startup events in cities. And today, thanks to the received output, the expert sees the event in a more positive light: “It is important to mark that in Russia people are used to complaining that nothing is happening. But in fact such situation existed 5 years ago, and everything has greatly changed. And most importantly, attitudes have changed. As to our tour, great interest was expressed towards it – for example, we have given about 140 interviews. My attitude is positive in comparison to when we were starting all this.” Event organizers note positive changes in regions already at this stage. “You can’t say that innovations are evenly distributed all over the country, there are certain growth points. Not all regions are actively involved in our innovative activity today. After the startup tour we receive 2-3 good projects per week from the regions where we hadn’t previously received anything from”, marked investment manager of direct investment fund JSC “RVK” Mikhail Kharuzin. Russian Startup Tour had one format in all cities, including Kaliningrad. Here presentations of innovative projects took place, as well as master classes on how to correctly promote your project and receive financing for its development. “We simply work with projects, show how we evaluate, what we want to see and the innovator clearly understands where he should be heading, learns about certain aspects that must be presented in a project. Receiving feedback is very important for them, i.e. telling them on time “No, it’s not the right direction” or “Yes, that’s the thing, but watch out for competition””, told us Mikhail Kharuzin. At the moment Kaliningrad does not have anything to boast about – according to the data of the manager of “Zvorykin Project” of the Federal Agency on Youth Issues, Sergey Blintsov, each year there are about 10 projects from Kaliningrad participating in the event on innovative projects, but up till now none has won the competition. But notwithstanding this, Kaliningrad region has high potential in IT sphere – this was marked by both Russian Startup Tour and representatives of business community all over Russia. Russian Startup Tour is one of the events designed to popularize entrepreneurship and work in technology spheres. The project started on March 18 in Naberezhnye Chelny. 16 cities participated in the project: Naberezhnye Chelny, Ufa, Tyumen, Omsk, Novosibirsk, Belgorod, Kaliningrad, Rostov-on-Don, Astrakhan, Samara, Vladivostok, Krasnoyarsk, Tomsk, Nizhny Novgorod and Kaluga. In Kaliningrad this is the second largest project dedicated to startup companies. Recently Hackday #24 took place where during 48 hours Kaliningrad startup entrepreneurs worked on their projects, communicated with mentors and defended their ideas in front of expert jury board. Эксперты проехали более 10 тысяч километров, посетили 16 городов и просмотрели более 200 инновационных проектов, а сегодня озвучили итоги события. Советник президента фонда «Сколково» Пекка Вильякайнен признался, что поначалу Russian Startup Tour вызывал долю скептицизма — эксперт был уверен, что в городах не будет всех необходимых условий для стартап-мероприятия. Сейчас же благодаря появившейся отдаче, эксперт смотрит на мероприятие более позитивно: «Важно отметить, что в России люди привыкли жаловаться на то, что ничего не происходит. Но на самом деле такая ситуация была 5 лет назад, и все сильно изменилось. А самое главное, что изменилось отношение людей. И что касается нашего тура, то к нему был проявлен большой интерес — например, мы дали порядка 140 интервью. Мое отношение — позитивное по сравнению с тем, когда это все начиналось». Организаторы мероприятия отмечают положительные изменения в регионах уже сейчас. «Нельзя сказать, что эти инновации ровным слоем размазаны по стране, есть некие точки роста. И не все области на сегодня активно задействованы в нашей инновационной деятельности. После стартап-тура в неделю приходят по 2-3 нормальных проекта из тех регионов, из которых мы ранее вообще ничего не получали»,отметил управляющий по инвестициям Фонда посевных инвестиций ОАО «РВК» Михаил Харузин. Russian Startup Tour имел единый формат во всех городах, в том числе и в Калининграде. Здесь состоялись презентации инновационных проектов, а также мастер-классы о том, как правильно продвинуть свой проект и получить финансирование на его развитие. «Мы просто работаем с проектами, показываем, как мы смотрим, что мы хотим видеть, и инноватор четко понимает, куда ему двигаться, узнает окаких-то жестких установках, которые должны быть представлены в проекте. Получение обратной связи — это очень важно для них, т.е. вовремя сказать: «Нет, это не то направление» или «Да, это то, но смотрите за конкурентами»,рассказал Михаил Харузин. Пока Калининграду нечем похвастаться — по данным руководителя «Зворыкинского проекта» Федерального агентства по делам молодежи Сергея Блинцова, каждый год в мероприятии по инновационным проектам участвуют порядка 10 проектов из Калининграда, но пока никто не стал лауреатом конкурса. Но тем не менее у Калининградской области есть большой потенциал в IT-сфере — это отмечают как эксперты Russian Startup Tour, так и представители бизнес-сообщества по всей России. Напомним, что Russian Startup Tour — одно из событий, призванное популяризировать предпринимательство и работы в технологических областях. Проект стартовал еще 18 марта в городе Набережные Челны. В проекте участвовали 16 городов: Набережные Челны, Уфа, Тюмень, Омск, Новосибирск, Белгород, Калининград, Ростов-на-Дону, Астрахань, Самара, Владивосток, Красноярск, Томск, Нижний Новгород и Калуга.
